Eastleigh

Eastleigh, being well situated for both business or pleasure, was first mentioned as Esteli in the Doomesday book. The name of Eastleigh was chosen by the local authoress Charlotte Yonge when the growing community, due to the London and South Western railway company moving its carriage and engine works to Eastleigh in the 1880’s, became a parish in 1886.

Today Eastleigh, geographically virtually at the centre of the south coast, has become important for its communication links for business and pleasure and Homeleigh Guest House is close to all these:-
